One Minet Park Jam 2009
A great day out to be had by all ages, One Minet Skatepark have teamed up with the LCB Skate School to provide THE summer skate event to shout about.
Taking place on Sunday August 23rd from 12:00pm, FREE SKATE TUITION will be available throughout the day on the BRAND NEW beginners section at ONE MINET Skatepark. Wetting your taste-buds will be some of the UK’s TOP PRO RIDERS demonstrating how its done to the sounds of LIVE DJs rotating all day. PLUS a BBQ supplying fresh food for those hungry tums straight off the ramps and an added bonus FREE PRIZE GIVEAWAY!
One Minet began when a bunch of skaters decided their local park wasn’t cutting the mustard and took it upon themselves to raise money to create a park with a difference.
Flown in from America, Dreamland Skatepark Builders took on the One Minet project and produced a world class skatepark right in Saffron Walden.
Now offering an additional MICROPARK for beginners providing a safe and useful area for people wanting to get a start in skateboarding.

The guys at One Minet and LCB know that skateboarding can sometimes seem a bit intimidating and dangerous. But we are out to prove that anyone can enjoy this great activity with the right advice and tips. Thanks to the separate beginners park at One Minet, riders can now have the confidence to skate without fear of crossing the more experienced path but with the added bonus of gaining inspiration and motivation by being right in the thick of a buzzing park.
LCB Skate School will be providing FREE skate tuition on the day. This will include experienced and insured instructors offering expert advice on breaking the skate scene. The boards are waiting with all the safety equipment to get you shredding with complete confidence. Whether you have graced the grip of a plank before and just want to perfect those flips; or maybe you are just interested in trying something new, LCB provide an informed lesson catered to your personal needs.

True to One Minet form, this event is made for family and friends and there will be tons of entertainment to keep you and your crew going all day.
