GIANTS VISIT – SKOPERA – Saturday 19th May

This is part of the Cultural Olympics for Saffron Walden. A giant creature will visit Saffron Walden and progress to the Museum in town. Skaters and BMXers will act as out-riders accompanying the giant through the town. At 7pm the Giant will come to the skatepark as the finale to the event. We are planning to have Evi Crane singing in the middle bowl with skaters, BMXers and bladers showing off their skills in the two outer bowls. It will be an extraordinary fusion of music, singing, skating, costume and probably pyrotechnics !
