HELMETS

We advise everybody to wear a helmet when using the skatepark.   Head injuries can seriously affect the rest of your life.   Older members have a responsibility to set a good example to the younger members and create a culture of safety at the park.
Bullet helmets are available at cost price (£15) from the Skate Group Secretary –
phone 07967444321 to arrange collection at the skatepark.

“IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY”  INSTRUCTIONS

There is no supervision at the skatepark and participants must follow the instructions on information boards at the skatepark in the event of an emergency.   One board is positioned facing the inside of the main skatepark under the free-standing notice-board and the other faces outwards towards the mini-park.   Both are attached to the railings.   It is important to follow the directions exactly as instructed.
